What is a Chitrali pakol?

The pakol is the traditional rolled-brim wool cap of Chitral and the northern mountains of Pakistan. It is made from a woven wool tube (patti) that is rolled up by hand to form its famous brim.

Which size should I order?

Measure around your head just above the ears. 21" ≈ 53 cm, 22" ≈ 56 cm, 23" ≈ 58 cm, 24" ≈ 61 cm. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one — the rolled brim lets you adjust the fit.

Is it really handmade?

Yes. Every TajShahi pakol is woven and rolled by artisans in Chitral. Small differences in texture and shape are part of its character.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 1 working day and usually arrive in 2–5 working days anywhere in Pakistan. Cash on Delivery is available.

How do I care for my pakol?

Brush it gently with a soft brush and air it out. Do not machine wash; dry clean only if needed.
